Boarding Schools Troubled Teens

Traditional Boarding Schools for Boys and Girls

Traditionally, a boarding school consists of residential living, strict schedules, and a live in staff. This structure is modeled after classic British boarding schools and has been adapted by varies cultures throughout time. Today boarding schools have evolved into facilities with individual values. Young teenagers and their parents now have the option to attend a military, college prep, behavioral, therapeutic, or religious boarding school. Many parents are drawn to the single-sex boarding school structure, which has proven results of academic success within the students.

Therapeutic Boarding Schools

Therapeutic Boarding Schools or emotional growth boarding schools are designed to assist parents and their troubled teens with behavior modification. These programs offer a specialized structure to improve a teenager’s physical, emotional, behavioral, family, social, intellectual, and academic development. This is done by working through the root cause of the problem within the troubled teens.
